### Wolverine stack at a glance: evidence grade by ingredient

| Ingredient | What it is | Grade | FDA | WADA 2026 |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [BPC-157](https://plainlygraded.com/peptides/bpc-157/) | Synthetic 15-amino-acid fragment of a gastric protein | **Evidence grade C** | Not approved | S0 prohibited |
| [TB-500](https://plainlygraded.com/peptides/tb-500/) | Synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4, a repair-related protein | **Evidence grade D** | Not approved | S2 prohibited |
| **Wolverine stack (the blend)** | No published human or animal study of the pair | **Evidence grade U** | Not approved | Prohibited |

A blend is graded as a blend: good evidence for an ingredient does not transfer to the mix. [How we grade](https://plainlygraded.com/evidence-grading/)

## What is in the Wolverine stack?

The Wolverine stack is BPC-157 and TB-500 used together, named after the comic-book character who heals fast. The name is marketing, not a product standard.

**Note:** We don't list amounts. Sellers and clinics combine these two in different proportions. [Why we don't publish doses or ratios](https://plainlygraded.com/why-we-dont-give-dosing/)

## What TB-500 on the label actually is

TB-500 is a synthetic fragment linked to the LKKTETQ region of thymosin beta-4. The human trials people cite tested full-length thymosin beta-4 as eye drops, not the fragment sold as TB-500.

## Is the Wolverine stack legal, and will it fail a drug test?

Neither peptide is FDA-approved, and neither can be lawfully compounded as of October 17, 2026. In sport, BPC-157 is prohibited under S0 and TB-500 under S2 of the 2026 WADA List, in and out of competition. Anti-doping rules work on strict liability: a positive test counts whatever the label said. The US military's Operation Supplement Safety also lists BPC-157 as prohibited.

### What sellers claim vs what has been shown

| Claimed | Shown |
| --- | --- |
| Heals injuries faster than either alone | No study has tested the pair. Each has rodent or lab data only for injury repair.[1,3] |

What we don't know

- Whether the two interact: no study of the pair exists.
- What is actually in products sold online.

Why this page has no dosing

We don't publish doses, schedules or mixing instructions for Wolverine stack or any unapproved peptide. No human dose has been established for most of these uses, so we list what to ask a licensed prescriber instead.

- **If you have or have had cancer.** Both have a theoretical blood-vessel growth concern.
- **If you are under 18.** Neither has been studied in young people.
